This is a city owned lot where the old convention center sat. A request for proposal period initially lent support to a proposal for a mixed use development with an 11 and an 8 story building. This was later rumored to go to 15 and 8. The final proposal now approved by the city council takes the two buildings to 20 and 14 stories. An effort to attract a 2 screen downtown movie theatre to the building is underway. The project cost is estimated at $130 million.

The project would sit at the south end of Fayetteville Street across from the new convention hotel. It would contain about 50,000 sq.ft. of retail property (a healthclub is under consideration), 154 condos and 284,000 sq. ft. of offices.

The property is seeking to land a major anchor tenant so they can accelerate construction.

TMC Group is a combination of Craig Davis Properties, White Oak Properties, East-West Partners and Beacon Street Development.
